Horrible experience. My son had to get some fillings on his molars, so we decided to come here. Bad choice. First of all they didn’t numb him enough, so when he came out of the office he was crying because he was in so much pain. Second, the lady who takes care of all the insurance, and payments was extremely rude to me because I didn’t have $500 to pay for the work that day. About a week later we got a nasty letter from them saying they refuse to finish the work on my son’s teeth, because we obviously don’t care and are being neglectful. We have very good insurance. They don’t have any compassion. These people only care about money. Do not take your kid here!

An excellent facility, incredible staff and very skilled dentist. No one was willing to help my 4 year old daughter. She needed 2 extractions. She is a very difficult patient. They didn't even bat an eye and gave her the care no one else was willing to give. I highly recommend, and thank u so much!

My son needed his two front teeth pulled, right in time for Christmas! He was nervous, as to be expected but the Staff was amazing explaining everything to him. He wanted me to go back with him which I am glad I did not because I think I was more anxious then him! He came out with a smile stating he didn't feel a thing! He did feel the numbing medicine but said that was it. He was more traumatized by me pulling put his loose teeth then going go the dentist! All smiles from here! Thank you to the wonderful staff from the reception, to the hygienists and doctor! You have made him feel so much better! Would highly recommend.

I will NEVER send my daughter back to this dentist. If I could give negative stars I would. After receiving a laundry list of dental work that was needed and trusting this dentist we went forward with their dental plan. Later to find out that they ground my daughter's teeth too much when placing a temporary filling ( it fell off in two days). Well, they did this, they held my daughter's legs down and held her face as she screamed for me because I had to sit in the lobby. This caused a gap in her gums for bacteria to get trapped which resulted in an abscess on her gums later on. We brought her back and the dentist's recommendation was to pull yet another tooth and we were referred to an oral surgeon. I was sick to my stomach that my 4-year-old had to have a second tooth pulled. Feeling uneasy, I contacted another dentist for a second opinion. Needless to say after an amazing experience with our new dentist in Roscoe, Dr. Joiner with Joiner Family Dental, her tooth did not need to be extracted after all. The staff at Pediatric Dentistry is extremely rude, parents aren't allowed to go back with their children, and they are quick to just pull teeth. I would never recommend this dentist

My daughter loves the dentist, but it was sometimes a scary experience for her when she was little. Dr. Johnson and his highly trained staff are experts in pediatrics. Trust me, no one goes into this particular field who doesn't love little kids and has the patience of a saint! And sometimes the best thing is for mom or dad NOT to go in back, but to wait in the waiting room. I learned my daughter made way more of a fuss when I was back there than if she was a "big girl" and went in back alone. They feed off our anxiety. Dr. Johnson has had my complete trust for my daughter's dental care for her entire life, 18 years. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for an excellent pediatric dentist in the Rockford area.
